Deputy tries to pull over a vehicle and the vehicle takes off. The pursuit only last a few minutes before the suspect pulls over at the laundromat. Deputy reports the suspect might have been throwing items from the vehicle. Dispatch finds that Sucec has multiple active felony warrants also. He was cited & released. News Story from KDRV: A Coos County man has been arrested after stealing hundreds of dollars' worth of fuel from Peter's Cranberry Farm on Airport Road in Sixes. According to a news release from the Curry County Sheriff's Office, the man -- Nicholas Sucec -- stole fuel from the farm last weekend. Sucec was caught on surveillance equipment. "(The farm) posted to Facebook, photographs of the suspect and vehicle online," the release said. "It was reported back to the Curry County Sheriff's Office from our neighboring law enforcement agency, Bandon Police Department and concerned citizens." Through tips and leads from the public, police found out that Sucec was the one who stole the fuel, the release said. They found out that Sucec lives in the Coos County area. "A Bandon PD Sergeant observed the pickup seen in the Sixes theft on (March 12)," the release said. "The Bandon PD sergeant attempted a traffic stop and the driver fled in a dodge pickup truck. The male driver was identified as Nicholas Sucec and was taken into custody without further incident." A Curry County deputy interviewed Sucec, who admitted to stealing the fuel over the weekend, the release said. "He was cited and released for the fuel theft, criminal trespass and criminal mischief at Peters Cranberry Farm," the release said. "Sucec was taken into custody by Bandon PD for Felony Elude, Reckless Driving, and two valid warrants out of Coos Bay PD for failure to appear."

Around 9 'clock police first received an anonymous call about a wanted person in the area of 149 N. 900 West. When officers arrived, they spotted their suspect, but he took off running. “We brought in a police dog, and the dog located the suspect hiding behind a shed in the backyard," Purvis said. Salt Lake City Police arrested Nicholas Sucec who was wanted on misdemeanor warrants -- including retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and battery. He will now face another charge, fleeing from police.
