At approximately 3:10pm, this afternoon, Bandon Police responded to a burglary report near Hennicks Home Center. Upon arrival, the suspects had already fled the scene. However, Sgt. Whitmer quickly located Nickolas Mikes, 36 of Bandon, who was arrested for Burglary and transported to Coos County Jail. At approximately 8:46 pm , Officer Carpenter located and arrested Alora Lattimer, age 33 of Bandon, for Burglary, who was also transported to Coos County Jail. Both individuals have been trespassed from multiple properties in and around Bandon.

On August 6, 2025, at approximately 6:28 p.m., the Bandon Police Department was notified of a possible criminal trespass in the 1100 block of 1st Street NE. Upon officers’ arrival, a subject fled the scene on foot. The Coos County Sheriff's Office responded to assist with a K9 unit in an attempt to track the fleeing individual. However, due to the subject fleeing into a densely populated area, the individual was not immediately located. Following continued patrol checks in the area, two individuals were arrested at separate times at the original location: Nickolas Mikes, age 36, of Bandon, was arrested for Burglary I, Burglary II, Possession of a Controlled Substance Heroin, and Criminal Mischief. Alora Lattimer, age 33, of Bandon, was also arrested for Burglary I, Burglary II, Possession of a Controlled Substance Heroin, and Criminal Mischief. Both individuals were taken into custody without further incident.
