CPBD: On March 1, 2025, at 5:48 A.M., the Coos Bay Police Department responded to the 200 block of N. Main Street in Coos Bay for a report of a dispute. CBPD officers arrived in the area to find a resident of a home standing alone in his yard. The resident reported two people, identified as 27-year-old Lanie Denton of North Bend and 41-year-old Joshua Felker of Coquille, attempted to steal his vehicle. During the attempt to steal the victim's vehicle, a shot was fired from a gun by the suspects, but the victim was not injured. The suspects had fled the area before the CBPD officer's arrival. At 1:57 pm the Bandon Police Department located CBPD’s suspects and their vehicle and arrested them on the following charges: • Robbery I • Attempted First Degree Assault • Attempted Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle • Menacing • Unlawful Use of a Weapon • Felon in Possession of a Firearm • Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance • Disorderly Conduct II • Interference with making a report

Pulled over by CBPD in a 1998 white mustang (266FHZ) with no registration or insurance and a suspended license. Cops give him a citation. I bet he'll never do that again.

We received a report of a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer stolen by Lanie Denton and Josh Felker in North Bend around 1:30 AM but the thieves threw out the owners dog before they left. The vehicle was reportedly found same day on side of road near Saunders Lake in Lakeside. The thieves kept the only set of keys owner had.

Crime(s): Delivery of Heroin, Possession of Heroin, Felon in Possession of Firearm, Possession of a restricted weapon (Taser), Possession of Methamphetamine. Persons Involved: Felker, Joshua Daniel 33 YOA, Coos Bay resident Farnham, Michael Daniel 38 YOA, Coquille Resident Oleary, Jessica Nichole, 33 YOA, Coos County resident Narrative: On April 10, 2017 SCINT Detectives assisted by the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, Coquille Tribal Police, Coos Bay Police Department, North Bend Police Department, and Coos County Community Corrections executed a search warrant at 1140 Ocean Court in Coos Bay. A total of six people were contacted at the residence during the search warrant. Detectives located approximately three ounces of suspected Heroin, a loaded .38 cal revolver, two tasers, scales, packaging material, smoking devices, and records of drug sales. Josh Felker, Michael Farnham and Jessica Oleary were lodged at the Coos County Jail for probation violations. Additional charges to include the Delivery of Heroin, Unlawful Possession of Heroin, Felon in Possession of Firearm, and Felon in possession of a Restricted Weapon (Taser) will be referred to the Coos County District Attorney’s Office upon completion of the investigation.
