On 2/22/18 at about 8:20 PM officers from the Coos Bay Police Department, while investigating another matter, spoke with Jason Jess Garcia regarding the robbery from the Coos Bay Subway the previous day. As Garcia was a close match to the description of the suspect in that case. During the interview Garcia admitted to having committed the robbery at Subway. Ultimately, Garcia was taken into custody for Robbery 1, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, and Theft 2. Garcia was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was lodged.
