Trevar Ryan Reed (1999)

Career criminal, even though he is horrible at it. Every time he gets out of prison, he gets caught committing more crimes and goes right back to prison. He needs to finally admit to himself that he is a complete failure and embarrassment as a criminal.

On January 29th, 2024, around 11:00 am, Coos County Dispatch received a report that a woman was at Bay Area Hospital for injuries sustained during a domestic violence incident with Trevar Reed (27). Deputy B. Freerksen responded to the hospital to speak with the identified victim. Deputy Freerksen learned that the victim was pregnant and Mr. Reed had physically assaulted her and threatened her with a loaded rifle in his possession earlier in the morning. Mr. Reed is a convicted felon who is on Post-Prison Supervision (Parole) and is not permitted to have firearms or other weapons in his possession. Around 2:45 pm, Deputy Freerksen and Sergeant J. Boswell located Mr. Reed at a residence on Centennial Road in Coos Bay. Deputy Freerksen interviewed Mr. Reed and other witnesses before finishing his investigation. Deputy Freerksen contacted Mr. Reed’s Parole Officer to report the situation. The Parole Officer requested Mr. Reed’s arrest for a Parole Violation. Mr. Reed was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail for the Parole Violation, Assault 4-Felony, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Mr. Reed was booked, processed, and remains in custody.

Charged with 2nd degree burglary, possession of burglary tools and 1st degree failure to appear. Sentenced to 35 months in prison. He was released on December 13, 2023.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle On July 24, 2019, at 9:25 PM, Coos Bay Police responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding a vehicle that had just been stolen. The caller reported being a witness to an altercation between a neighbor and a male subject which resulted in the neighbor’s vehicle being stolen. An officer quickly arrived on scene and obtained information from the owner of the vehicle, relaying a description of the vehicle and male suspect to the other on duty officers. At 9:32 PM, only seven minutes after the initial 9-1-1 call, the stolen vehicle was observed in motion by a Coos Bay Police Officer. The officer initiated a traffic stop and subsequently took the driver, Trevar Reed, a 20-year-old male from Coos Bay, into custody for Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle and Probation Violation. Reed was transported to the Coos County Jail.

Suspect convicted of fleeing a police officer, unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless driving, unauthorized entry into a vehicle, 3rd degree theft and failure to appear. Sentenced to 22 months in prison.
