CCSO: On December 24, 2024, at approximately 3:31 PM, the Coos County Sheriff's Office received a report of an assault near the intersection of Park Ave and South 8th in Lakeside. Deputies Z. Smith and Churchill, who were already in the area, quickly observed a vehicle matching the suspect's description and initiated a stop. One of the passengers was identified as 56-year-old David Bohan, who had active warrants for his arrest. Upon concluding the assault investigation, it was determined that the alleged assault was unfounded. David Bohan was arrested for his active warrants and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked.
