CBPD gets a call about an E-bike being stolen. While investigating, an officer spots the possible bike and tells the rider to stop. The rider flees into the field just west of kruse and 7th, ditches the bike and then hides in the brush. CBPD surrounds the field and one officer ends up flushing the suspect out. The suspect runs north on 10th and then turns west onto a power line road. An officer runs down the out of shape suspect and puts him on the ground. Once handcuffed, the suspect fakes a seizure because he is scared to go to jail. Officers call for medical and decide to carry the out of shape coward out of the woods when he stops faking a seizure. One officer identifies the suspect as Tony Madrigal. While packing the suspect out, he is crying and whining in the background every time officers talk on the radio. Officers state they have found parts of other stolen bikes at his camp.
