•••Disturbance call leads to Coos Bay man's arrest on outstanding warrants••• On October 25th, 2023, at approximately 11:49 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a report of a disturbance in progress on W. Howard Road in Bunkerhill, just south of Coos Bay. Deputy Mong arrived on the scene and was later joined by Deputies Z. Smith and Sattler. The argument was verbal, but it was discovered the male involved, Issac Veloz (43) of Coos Bay, had active warrants for his arrest. Veloz locked himself inside the residence, placing items in front of the door. The Deputies were able to speak with Veloz and convince him to come out of the home. Veloz exited the house without issue and was arrested for the active warrants for his arrest. Mr. Veloz was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody.
