The Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit arrested an Oregon man Monday in Eddington for charges including encouraging sexual abuse of a child. Officials say 42-year-old Norman Fannin was taken into custody after police searched his home on Rooks Road. The search warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the distribution of child sexual abuse material at his residence. Fannin had an extraditable arrest warrant out of Oregon for the felony sexual abuse charge.
