•••Coos County Sheriff’s Office Responds to Disturbance, Arrest Made for Domestic Violence••• On November 7th, 2023, at approximately 12:50 p.m., Coos County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting an active disturbance at a residence on Joshua Road in North Bend. Deputy Z. Smith promptly responded to the call, followed by Sergeant S. Moore. Upon arrival, Deputy Smith was informed by Dispatch that the nature of the disturbance was unclear due to the ongoing circumstances at the residence. Simultaneously, Dispatch relayed information that a female, later identified as Abbygaile Hearne (23), could be heard in the background shouting for someone to get up. Concerned for the safety of those involved, Deputy Smith immediately requested the assistance of Emergency Medical Staff to respond to the scene. Deputy Smith's arrival coincided with OSP Trooper Waldrop escorting Abbygaile from the residence towards his patrol vehicle. Trooper Waldrop informed Deputy Smith that Abbygaile had been actively assaulting the victim when State Police arrived. As the investigation progressed, it became evident that the victim had sustained significant injuries. Further inquiry revealed that Abbygaile was under "Conditional Release" from the Coos County Courts, with a prohibition on any offensive contact with the current victim. Consequently, Abbygaile was taken into custody by law enforcement officials and transported to the Coos County Jail. She has been booked and is being held on charges of Assault 4-Domestic Violence, Harassment, Interfering with making a report, and Violation of Release Conditions pertaining to a Domestic crime.
