•••Coos Bay woman arrested after unlawfully entering a residence in Barview and threatening homeowner with a weapon••• On October 7th, 2023, at 9:15 hours, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 report of a woman who had entered a residence on Cape Arago Hwy near Barview. The woman had reportedly grabbed a gun from inside the home and threatened the homeowner with it. Sgt. J. Clayburn and Deputy A. Burgo responded to the location and contacted the homeowner outside. Deputy Burgo located the woman inside the residence, identified as Karma L. Perry (47) of Coos Bay. During the investigation, it was evident Ms. Perry had some mental health concerns. However, she was aware of unlawfully entering the victim's residence and possessing the firearm. Deputy A. Burgo placed Karma L. Perry (47) under arrest on Burglary I and Criminal Trespass I. Ms. Karma was transported to the Coos County Jail, where she remains in custody.
