•••Coos County Man Receives 25 Year Prison Sentence After Guilty Plea••• On August 21st, 2024, Edward A. Thomas (56) of Coos County appeared in front of Judge Martin Stone. Mr. Thomas pled guilty to three crimes; Sodomy in the First Degree, Using a Child in a Sexual Display, and Encouraging Child Sex Abuse. Mr. Thomas was sentenced to 25 years in the Department of Corrections without the eligibility of Good Time or Sentence Reduction. This case came to a resolution after the hard work by Detective Ritz and District Attorney Blanc.
