Male robber sped away in truck while victim tried pulling suspect out of vehicle. Truck was recovered around 6pm on the corner of South Marple & Montgomery in Empire. Suspect had been booked and released the night before on unrelated charges, and is currently at large.

Samuel Goldfaden arrested by OSP on warrant for Theft 1, Theft 2, Criminal Trespass, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Goldfaden was transported to CCJ to be booked and released back into the wild.

According to an entry on the CBPD log for Dec. 12, 9:44 p.m., 300 block Anderson Ave., "located wanted subject," 45-year old Samuel Vincent Goldfaden charged with Probation Violation, "Goldfaden transported to Reedsport Jail."

Sam Goldfaden and younger passenger (probably his brother Zebadiah) broke the door down and robbed a house of jewelry and 2 firearms. The car he was driving was later identified as stolen and recovered by CBPD in the parking lot next to 7 Devils Brewery
