Melissa Lucas, acting disorderly in empire, is detained and taken to the hospital for evaluation. At the hospital Lucas becomes combative, so the officer asks for backup. Lucas then begins to fight the officer for a few minutes until the officer takes control. The officer puts Lucas back in the police car and applies ankle restraints. She continues kicking, screaming, spitting and banging her head in the back of the police car. For Lucas’s final act, she kicks a deputy in the face. Lucas was released from jail only 30 hours before this incident. Another revolving door feral.

Report of 3 people trying to break through the fence on the east side of the Devereaux Center to get into the lot at Proven Performance. CBPD arrived and found Melissa Lucas by the fence but could not locate the other suspects because they fled before the police arrived. No action taken.

Bunker Hill, CCSO release – On December 25, 2019 at about 3:30 PM, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a female who was stealing items from yards and menacing a person with a baseball bat. Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch obtained a description and the female, later identified as 37 year old Melissa Lucas, was located on Center Road near Highway 101 in Bunker Hill. The investigation revealed Lucas had been found stealing a cooler from a yard. When confronted, Lucas dropped the cooler and obtained a small aluminum baseball bat. It was reported Lucas was standing in the road and swinging the bat while yelling at the owner of the cooler telling him to “come on!” Based upon the investigation, Lucas was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II and Theft III. Lucas was transported to the Coos County Jail where she was booked and released to the jail staff.
