On Saturday, February 24th, at 1:05 pm, Sgt. M. Smith assisted the United States Forrest Service Law Enforcement with a contact in the Siuslaw National Forest near Lakeside. One of the subjects contacted, Justin L. Dennis (51), was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center confirmed the outstanding warrant. Sgt. Smith arrested Mr. Dennis and transported him to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and later transported to Douglas County.

Serial trespassers and fugitives from Idaho were arrested by their RV for camping at Fred Meyer after being previously trespassed. Both Justin and Pearl resisted arrest. Justin was taken to the hospital because he hurt his back while resisting. Pearl was transported to CCJ, booked and released back into the wild. 51-year old Justin Lee Dennis charged with Criminal Trespass II & Resisting Arrest; and, 55-year old Pearl Rene Dennis charged with Criminal Trespass II

RP states the is a large group of suspicious people near the fence at Mast Bros making loud banging and clanking noises. CBPD #121 arrives on scene and speaks with Justin Dennis who claims he has permission to be there (even though he was just trespassed this morning). CBPD #121 tells him that he should move his stuff somewhere else. No arrests or citations. 12-1.

Justin & Pearl Dennis moved to a new location (840 S Front) a few hours before they were about to be towed from Ingersol (next to Farr's) and were trespassed from their new location, but given a few more hours to pack up and leave. It's amazing how generous CBPD is to the Dennis Family, isn't it? I bet they'll never litter and camp illegally again.
