On Saturday, February 24th, at 1:05 pm, Sgt. M. Smith assisted the United States Forrest Service Law Enforcement with a contact in the Siuslaw National Forest near Lakeside. One of the subjects contacted, Justin L. Dennis (51), was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center confirmed the outstanding warrant. Sgt. Smith arrested Mr. Dennis and transported him to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and later transported to Douglas County.
