Neighbor reported seeing a suspicious person walking out of a vacant residence in Eastside. CBPD located Matt Arnold down the street who stated he was not in the residence. CBPD said he was lying because the neighbor saw him in the residence. Arnold has a warrant out if Lane County. Arnold arrested for Criminal Trespass II and transported to CCJ to be booked and released.

CBPD contacted Matthew Arnold for camping in the "lobby" (I believe of City Hall). Arnold said someone told him it was allowed. The officer explained it was not. Arnold also has a restricted warrant out of Lane County for Disorderly Conduct. No action taken.

According to an entry on the CQPD log for Sept. 15, 7:20 a.m., 200 block So. Mill, “Coquille PD served Thurston County SO warrant on” 40-year old Matthew Warren Arnold charging FTA on Attempted Robbery in 1st Degree, Arnold transported to CCJ.”
