Reports of woman on bike weaving in and out of traffic. CBPD identifies her as Wendy Massey who has a warrant out of Idaho for probation violation. Her husband who is at "home" at the Devereaux Center's Coalbank Village also has a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Both are arrested and transported to CCJ, but the jail is unsure whether they can lodge them so they can be extradited. So they might just be released in Coquille. CBPD described Gene Massey as an "armed career criminal" and didn't feel comfortable detaining him until there were 3 squad cars present (yes they actually waited for the 3rd to arrive). However the sheriff's office seems to believe they are safe to be out on the street. UPDATE: Wendy was lodged, Gene was booked and released.
