During patrols, a CBPD officer sees Jonathan Schmidt walking south on 101 near Global Inn. Dispatch finds an open warrant for Schmidt, so the officer stops and detains him. During a quick search, the officer finds a concealed weapon. Schmidt ends up going to jail for the warrant plus the charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and felon in possession of a concealed weapon.
