Woman arrested after dog locked in car for days
COOS BAY, Ore. - A dog is safe after the Coos County Sheriff's Office reported it had been left alone in a locked vehicle for several days. Authorities said an animal control deputy responded to reports of a black-and-white pit bull confined inside a car in the area of Boat Basin Road in Coos Bay.

An Animal Control deputy responded to a complaint of a black and white Pitbull left alone in a car for several days. The deputy located the dog and determined 31-year-old Venassa Epperson was responsible. Epperson was detained and arrested on an outstanding warrant.
