An Animal Control deputy responded to a complaint of a black and white Pitbull left alone in a car for several days. The deputy located the dog and determined 31-year-old Venassa Epperson was responsible. Epperson was detained and arrested on an outstanding warrant. The dog was rescued and taken to the Coos County Animal Shelter for care.
